Dr. Joe M. Keller is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he earned a B.A. degree in 1964. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, (Go Vols!!) graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1967. While at U.T., Dr. Keller was very involved in student life serving as president of his senior class and of the Psi Omega dental fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army Dental Corps for two years, and then returned to U.T. where he entered the Graduate Orthodontics Program, earning the degree Master of Science in Orthodontic (M.S.), in 1971. He has been in continuous practice of Orthodontics in Panama City since 1971.

Dr. Keller married his high school sweetheart, Jane, in 1964. The two moved to Panama City in 1971 and raised their two children, Kristi and Keith. Dr. Keller is an elder in his church and supports many local charities. When out of the office you may catch a glimpse of Dr. Keller riding his Harley Davidson or you may see him cheering on his favorite professional football team the Tennessee Titans.

Dr. Prine is a native of Neenah, WI and graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School. After high school, she enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served for five and a half years. She then returned to Wisconsin to attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and received a B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Prine attended the University of Florida, College of Dental Medicine. During this time, she was involved with Project HEAL and other non-profit organizations which allowed her to participate in four international mission trips providing dental care to challenged communities abroad. After graduating UF, Dr. Prine went on to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the VA Medical Center, Dental Clinic in Martinsburg, WV. After her AEGD, she moved to Daphne, AL and worked as a general practitioner at Satsuma Family Dental in Satsuma, AL. After working for ten months, Dr. Prine was accepted to her orthodontic residency in Washington, D.C. She completed her orthodontic residency at Washington Hospital Center in 2008. Here she was Chief Resident and served on Children’s National Medical Center’s craniofacial team for two years. She has extensive training in cleft lip and palate, TMD, and surgical orthodontics. Dr. Prine is a member of the Bay County Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northwest District Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Florida Association of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontics and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

In her free time Dr. Prine enjoys cooking, traveling, going to the beach, boating, learning the dreaded sport of golf, and watching Green Bay Packer and/or Gator football with family and friends.

Dr. Prine married her husband J.D. in 1998 after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin. J.D. is a pilot for NetJets Aviation, Inc, headquartered in Columbus, OH. NJA is a Berkshire Hathaway company that provides aviation services worldwide. He is heavily involved with the company’s Training Department and primarily works and an Instructor/Check Airman. He also serves as a volunteer for various union committees.

Dr. Prine joined Smile Specialists Orthodontics in January 2009 and is very excited to work with Dr. Keller and his staff.
